Drukkerij Tesink prints ‘Het Grote ZUTboek’

Het Grote ZUTboek; a beautifully designed book, created by the citizens of Zutphen and a number of (famous) Dutch people who have a certain affiliation with the city. Het Grote ZUTboek is the cities’ present for the library which is celebrating its 100th anniversary. Although the book contains the cities’ stories from the present, it is not to be opened until the year 2109. It was printed on especially designed ‘aging-proof’ paper and the result is staggering.
Hundreds of fascinating contributions were send in; from three dimensional artworks to personal histories. These contributions were often of a surprisingly high quality; designs were remarkable and extraordinary, but we will never know the exact content of the book. The unique aspect of this book is, that it will be presented (but not opened) on the 19th of March before being stored in a closed box which will be chained to the library.
