Stella Den Haag

The initial design of Stella Den Haag’s stationery used logo-ribbons printed in eight different PMS-colours. During the quotation stage it became apparent that this production would exceed their budget considerably. We found a solution for this problem by changing the PMS-colours into composit full colour images which were printed using a FM-screening.

The result is a striking, colourful, vibrant and varied stationery and the change from PMS into composit CMYK colours is not visible with the naked eye. Without taking anything away from the original design, our solution kept the production expenses within the client’s budget.
